German New Zealand Chamber of Commerce
The German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce (GNZCC) is the leading European Chamber in New Zealand, strengthening economic ties between the two countries for over 40 years. I am proud to be an Executive Partner, a role that keeps me closely connected to the organisations and people navigating that relationship every day.
The motivation behind the German Celebration website was to create something that could move quickly and feel genuinely Kiwi, existing parallel to the official German Chamber website. There is a real cultural difference at play here. In New Zealand, people want to know what's happening, where, and when, and they want to feel the energy of the event. That calls for a different visual language than you would apply in a German corporate context, and finding that balance is part of what makes this project interesting.
The site changes focus every year, rotating between the Business Awards and Oktoberfest. For the Business Awards it carries the full cycle, nominations, announcements, and the presentation of winners. For Oktoberfest it becomes an event showcase, with galleries, sponsorship opportunities, and all the information people need to get involved. I update and rebuild it each cycle, keeping it current, colourful, and on brief.
Alongside the website, I provide regularly updated team photography for the GNZCC, keeping their digital presence current and personal.
